TENARA® Thread for Boat Canopies Rot-Proof Thread

GORE® TENARA® is a premium PTFE sewing thread that helps keep your boat canopy or cover seams strong for longer. Unlike conventional polyester thread, which can become brittle and break after prolonged exposure to the elements, TENARA resists UV sunlight, saltwater, chemicals and extreme temperatures.

Its lasting strength helps reduce the need for restitching, making it a durable choice for marine canvas. Gore guarantees the thread will outlast the fabric into which it is sewn, subject to its warranty terms.

Please note: TENARA thread does not absorb water, but this does not make the stitched seams completely waterproof. Some slight water ingress may initially occur through the needle holes.
