We shall be attending the Preston Boat Jumble this year on the 5th of May. It is being held in a field just outside Churchtown, Garstang and you can find a Map Link Here.

We shall be there with our fully equipped mobile workshop so if you have any canopy repairs please bring them along on the day and we'll fix them up for you.

We will also be showing a range of deluxe marine Bucket seats which can be purchased on the day at a special discounted rate.

Come along, enjoy the day (good weather guaranteed;-)) and have a chat with us:-)

This beautifully restored classic motor boat came to us needing new cockpit seating. The Dashboard and side trims were already covered in navy blue vinyl so we added the cream stripes to the existing colour scheme to match the paintwork of boat.

Here are a few pictures of a custom-fitted tonneau cover for this Dejon 14 we squeezed in today!

The customer dropped the boat off at our workshop at around 10.30am and chose to have Weathermax 80 Pacific Blue fabric to match the boat's paintwork. The cover was then patterned, fabricated, fitted and ready for collection at 3.30pm.

Cruiser Stern Canopy

Start date - 1st April 2014
Picture
This project is a full enclosure for the stern  of this cruiser style Narrowboat. The Top of the canopy wiil be in 4 sections supported by 3 frames. The sides will zip into the top and be full height with zip-up door panels and the stern rail will be enclosed with a solid dodger.

In this photo we are fixing the deck brackets on top of the cab for the front frame support.

Picture
With the frame strapped  securely in place and the first 2 panels for the canopy top fixed with double-sided tape we can see the structure starting to take shape.

Picture
The pattern is complete and ready to be taken back to the workshop where each panel will be worked and finalised. These finished patterns are then used to mark out the actual canopy fabric ready for cutting and sewing.

The fabric of choice for this job is Weathermax Tweed Green, a high performance lightweight marine fabric with superb strength and breathability.
